In plain english this means that for every £1000 invested in marketing its clients this year generated £4500 in profit, added straight to the bottom line.
Ian Kirk, marketing expert and owner of the business is delighted with the performance. He does, however, expect that figure to improve dramatically in 2012.
"Return on Investment is what marketing is all about - if you are not getting a return on the money you are ploughing into the business then it is pointless. I am delighted that all of our clients who have taken a long term view in terms of marketing their company have seen tremendous results."
"2012 will be an even better year as the figures are currently being skewed by a couple of clients who have I been working with less than 12 months. This is because quite often when we first start implementating a marketing strategy the investment costs are higher up front as there is a greater need to sort certain things out first. What you usually see is the level of investment costs start to drop slightly and the returns start to increase disproportionately. I would expect this figure to be over 600% in 2012"
