Ian Kirk, owner and founder of Opportunity Marketing, has recently been appointed as a Trustee of the Leeds Children’s Charity. Ian has been working for the charity over the last 12 months, assisting them in developing a marketing strategy for the charity to increase its donator base, raise awareness and to secure the long term future of the charity.
The process has seen the charity rebrand itself in recent months and also, for the first time, actively participate in the Leeds 10K where it raised in the region of £10,000.
Ian explains “I became involved in the charity around 12 months ago when I heard of the fantastically valuable work they were carrying out in and around Leeds and the challenges that they faced. I teamed up with some other local business people to offer support to this worthwhile cause and in October this year took the decision to get even more involved by becoming a Trustee. We want to get more local businesses involved in this”.
